Controlling interest
The Company's majority shareholder at December 31, 2008 was Edizione Holding S.p.A. (now Edizione S.r.l.), an investment holding company with registered office in Treviso (Italy) and wholly owned by the Benetton family. It owned 122,540,000 ordinary shares in the Company at that date, representing a controlling interest of 67.08%.
